The distance between East Hampton and Stockholm is about 3,800 miles. On Aug. 18, The Living Room restaurant at c/o The Maidstone shortens it .
The three-star spot hosts a crayfish dinner, a traditional August meal in Sweden, featuring all-you-can-eat crayfish, Vasterbrotten-cheese tarts, and braised short ribs, among the choices. The crayfish are steamed with dill and schnapps. Cost: $75 per person. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. Reservations are due by Aug. 9.
Scandinavian design and "slow food" cooking define The Living Room, which opened last year at what used to be The Maidstone Arms.
