This Friday the East Hampton Farmers Market kicks off its seventh season. Located in the parking lot of Nick & Toni’s, the market will welcome back scores of local farmers, fishmongers, bakers as well as several new vendors including Goodale Farms of Aquebogue, producing fresh goat and cow’s milk products; Joe & Liza’s Ice Cream of Sag Harbor, scooping homemade ice cream and frozen desserts; and East Hampton bakery Dolce Nirvana.
The market provides an ATM terminal allowing patrons to process credit and debit-card transactions. The terminal also operates as an “Electronic Benefits Transfer” terminal, providing virtual food stamps for low-income shoppers.
East Hampton Farmers Market is located at 136 N. Main St., East Hampton, and is open every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (rain or shine) through Sept. 28.
