It's getting a little warmer, so look ahead.
Diners going to Dockers toward the end of next month can expect a summer preview: a new painting in the main dining room to capture the waterside eatery's view and sunset.
Local artist Frank Latorre was chosen to create the oversize painting, expected to come in at 100 inches-by-42 inches. Latorre's painting, on stretched canvas, is expected to be completed in March. Latorre owns the Art & Soul Gallery in Eastport.
Dockers is to open for the season on March 11. The restaurant serves mostly American fare, including steaks and seafood.
