Eleven Madison Park, the grand Manhattan restaurant, plans to summer in the Hamptons again.
EMP Summer House, a countrified and low-key version of star chef Daniel Humm and restaurateur Will Guidara’s showcase, will pop up once more at the former site of Moby’s, at 341 Pantigo Rd. in East Hampton.
As before, reservations are exclusive to American Express card users. Last year, the average price for starters was $20; for main courses, $40. The lobster boil: $125.
Reservations will open online at empsummerhouse.com on May 1. EMP is slated to unveil on May 25. Starting June 1, the rolling reservations will be available through July 31; starting July 1, through September.
A $50, nonrefundable upfront payment per person is mandatory for all reservations.
The restaurant will be open Wednesday to Sunday, closed Monday and Tuesday, except for some holidays, for indoor and outdoor dining.
In case you’re already planning, the menu is expected to focus primarily on local seafood, steaks, chicken and pastas. Dishes include lobster tempura with bibb lettuce, pickled radish, and chile-lime aioli; tomato salad with strawberries and almonds; and wood-fired rib-eye steak for two.
And if you’re in full FOMO mode, know that EMP Winter House is planned for Aspen in December. Have your Amex handy for that one, too.
