MARBLE MODERN AMERICAN STEAKHOUSE, Floral Park
WHAT: A polished alternative to all those steroidal steakhouses bulging on Long Island.

The Pink Lady has given way to The Lumberjack at Marble in Floral Park.

The two-star steakhouse has a new round of cocktails with which to welcome autumn. The Lumberack is one of them, fueled by Laird's applejack, apple cider, lemon and Tahitian vanilla-cardamom bitters.

Also new: Uncle Steve, made with Hayman's Old Time Gin and pomegranate-rosemary lemonade; Ginger Davis, with Domaine de Canton ginger liqueur, Cointreau, lemon, fresh ginger and black pepper; and The Anchor, with Tito's vodka, sriracha, olive brine, and two blue-cheese olives.

Marble's crabcakes, crisp-skinned chicken, and 21-day aged New York strip steak highlight the menu.
