On April 13, the Long Island chapters of Support For People With Oral And Head And Neck Cancer (SPOHNC) are sponsoring a tasting event at Stuart Thomas Manor in Farmingdale. The event will honor cancer survivors and proceeds will benefit the organization.

Last year’s tasting, the organization’s first, featured about 15 culinary establishments. This year, there are more than twice that number, including Bollinger’s (Farmingdale), the Brass Rail (Locust Valley), Copenhagen Bakery (Northport), Iavarone Café (New Hyde Park), George Martin (Rockville Centre), Kozy Shack (headquartered in Hicksville), New Bakaliko Greek market (Hicksville) Novita (Garden City), and Villa Monte (Old Bethpage). There will also be a number of raffles. A suggested donation of $20 or more per person is requested

Stuart Thomas Manor is at 2143 Boundary Ave., Farmingdale. For more information or to make a reservation, contact the SPOHNC office at 1-800-377-0928.

The Brass Rail in Locust Valley is one of the restaurants participating in the SPOHNC tasting event.
