For the past 11 years, West Babylon has been home to Classic American. When the restaurant started to founder, co-owner Naomi Cotter sought guidance from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, who visited the place to renovate and update its menu.

After trying Ramsay's new American comfort food repertoire, Cotter was happy with the change. "It's the best of mom's menu, you know? A little bit of pot roast, meatloaf ... but what's better than meatloaf wrapped in bacon?!"

Cotter had "Feed Me" host Meredith Daniels at the word "bacon." Daniels watched,wide-eyed, as head chef Kevin Gaertner cooked up an order of bacon-wrapped meatloaf with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes.

Whether it's burgers, bacon-wrapped meatloaf or good ol' grilled cheese you crave, Classic American Restaurant in West Babylon serves up the foods Mom used to make. And you won't put a strain on your wallet.
