Bob's Restaurant offers $15.95 "blue plate specials" Tuesday to Thursday, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Chef Jeff Eutsler's dinner specials include southern-fried, buttermilk chicken with local green beans and mashed potatoes; wiener schnitzel finished with lemon, capers and anchovies, paired with horseradish-mashed potatoes; penne alla vodka completed with a diced chicken breast; a tempura of shrimp and vegetables; and a "Parmesan sampler," with eggplant, chicken and shrimp atop linguine, and, of course, marinara sauce and mozzarella.
