Naturally, with super-storm Sandy upon us at this very moment, it’s unlikely plans for Halloween (Wednesday, Oct. 31) are of any priority — and chances are, many of this week’s scheduled parties are bound to either be rescheduled or rescinded — but on the chance that the storm’s impact on the Island is less detrimental than expected, and Wednesday night is still feasible for a festive fete, this could be interesting one:

Still planned for Wednesday, Carlyle at the Palace (1600 Round Swamp Rd., Plainview 516-586-6454) is presenting a “Halloween Celebrity Party,” scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Similar to most haunted holiday bashes, there will be a costume party and contest, drink specials and a DJ spinning dance beats all night. However, as for the entertainment, this event is a singular stop for sure.

Justifying the “Celebrity Party” designation, the lineup of expected special guests includes Hailey Glassman (CMT network’s “Sweet Home Alabama”), “Celebrity Boxing” chief executive Damon Feldman and Angelina Pivarnick (MTV’s “Jersey Shore"), as well as Aaron Hanson (of freestyle duo “Hanson & Davis”) on hand to sing the classic club track “Hungry For Your Love” and actress/ singer Raquel Castro (the film “Jersey Girl,” the NBC TV show “The Voice”).

Ticket prices have yet be announced (as well as any details regarding how this week’s weather will affect scheduling). For more information and admission prices, email psloveu2012@gmail.com.
