The ‘Who Luau Party’ at Whoville Bar in Bethpage

Think “Bethpage-meets-the-beach” on this one as the Whoville Bar starts a new tradition with its first annual Who Luau Party on Saturday, Aug. 13.

While the Hamptons and all the waterside venues are the usual stops for shore-styled shindigs, this land-locked location will start its summer party with deals on food ($12 lobsters, 50¢ clams, $2 sausages on rolls) and drink specials ($5 frozen beverages, $3 domestic bottles).

As for entertainment, the band Push will play, but the night also includes $250 in prizes going to a limbo contest and “coconut bikini” event – so don’t toss those empty shells just yet.

There’s no cover charge, and everything kicks off at 6 p.m. (and don’t forget: Whoville is only a walk away from the Bethpage LIRR platform).
