The northern offspring of the Lobster Roll in Amagansett will be put up for auction next month. And, if sold, it's expected to close.
This action doesn't affect the original Lobster Roll on Montauk Highway. That eatery will shut for the season after this weekend but is slated to reopen in spring.
Potential buyers will be visiting and touring the Northside site, situated in Baiting Hollow Commons. The sealed-bid auction will be held on Nov. 15, overseen by Sheldon Good & Co.
The two eateries had similar menus, emphasizing seafood, especially the namesake lobster salad on a hot-dog bun.
