Plattduetsche Park Restaurant turns Thursday into schnitzel night, with 14 preparations on the dinner menu. The eatery, know for its German cuisine, includes versions made with veal, chicken and pork; sauteed or pan-fried; with recipes that include cordon bleu, white-mushroom sauce, Parmesan cheese and tomatoes, bacon, and paprika-Dijon mustard sauce. The dishes range from $17.50 to $19.50, with sides.
Plattduetsche, which opened in 1939, also is offering a $19.39 fixed-price menu on Wednesdays. Plattduetsche is at 1132 Hempstead Tpke., Franklin Square; 516-354-3131.
