Free coffee at Georgio’s, Farmingdale: Soccer windfall

Georgio and Lydia Testani, owners of Georgio’s Coffee in Farmingdale, are big soccer fans and they’ve been following the progress of the U.S. women’s Olympic team with enthusiasm. Thursday Georgio pledged that if the U.S. women took gold, he’d offer free coffee to any woman visiting the store.

Now with the Americans’ 2-1 victory over Japan, he has to make good on his pledge. So, ladies, stop by Georgio’s Friday and get a free cup of hot coffee. While you’re there pick up a pound of his expertly roasted beans or a state-of-the-art coffee maker (drip, press, cold brew—Georgio has them all). Gentlemen, if you’re into coffee, this place is always worth a visit — even without a freebie.
