Free lobster for dad at Maliblue
Open seasonally, the Malibu Shore Club (1500 Lido Blvd., Lido Beach) is open to all Town of Hempstead residents, and offers beach access, and features an arcade, an ice cream parlor and the Maliblue Oyster Bar restaurant (that is open to the general public as well). Maliblue Oyster Bar, the beach-tastic restaurant at the Malibu Shore Club in Lido Beach, is giving away free lobsters at brunch this Father’s Day.
Here’s the deal: Brunch at Maliblue is a buffet, $24.95 for adults, $14.95 for kids. Among the many stations are a grill, omelets, panini and cotton candy. Soft drinks and coffee are included. On Father's Day, every dad will receive a 1½ pound lobster free of charge. Perhaps that's all dad needs to be happy, but if he doesn't avail himself of the buffet, one lobster will be his entire meal.
Live music will be provided by That 70s Band.
On Father's Day there will be two brunch seatings, one at 11 a.m. and one at 1 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Maliblue is at the Malibu Shore Club and Entertainment Center, Town of Hempstead Beach, 1500 Lido Blvd., Lido Beach, 516-442-2799.
