Friendly’s to slash cheeseburger prices to celebrate Coram location’s renovation
It may only be the Friendly’s restaurant in Coram that got a facelift, but to celebrate, its sister Friendly’s across Long Island will offer quarter-pound cheeseburger and fountain-soda combos for $2, starting Thursday.
Visitors to Long Island’s 18 other Friendly’s — which are owned J&B Restaurant Partners of Long Island LLC — will encounter the deal from Sept. 14 to Sept. 20.
The Coram Friendly’s at 2220 Rte. 112 originally opened in 1985, and recently closed for five days for refurbishment as part of a chain-wide rebranding.
Long Island’s other Friendly’s are in Riverhead, Lake Ronkonkoma, Mineola, Franklin Square, East Islip, Baldwin, Sayville, Stony Brook, Syosset, Commack, Levittown, Miller Place, Smithtown, East Meadow, Middle Island, Massapequa Park, Shirley and Medford.
