Friendly's to give away free cheeseburgers, turkey melts

Friendly's is welcoming fall with a budget-friendly deal.

From Oct. 11 through Oct. 17, the chain is offering a free turkey Cheddar supermelt or free quarter pound cheeseburger with the purchase of any fountain beverage for $2.99. Add fries for an additional $2.99 (plus tax) to round out the meal.

This dine-in only deal is offered at all 19 locations: Riverhead, Lake Ronkonkoma, Mineola, Franklin Square, East Islip, Baldwin, Sayville, Stony Brook, Syosset, Commack, Levittown, Miller Place, Smithtown, East Meadow, Middle Island, Massapequa Park, Shirley, Medford and Coram.

Friendly's ran a similiar promotion in June, offering free quarter pounders with the purchase of fries, to welcome the unofficial start of summer.
