Rein, the restaurant in the Garden City Hotel, expands its popular Sunday brunch by adding a dessert bar devoted to ice cream, gelato and sorbetto.
During July and August, the eatery's cool choices include the familiar flavors, plus some new refreshers featuring hibiscus, mango-jasmine, cinnamon-cardamom, creme fraiche, espresso, pistachio spumoni, coconut crunch, and brown-sugar fig.
The traditional brunch offers baked goods, omelets, carving stations, sushi, a seafood bar with lobster and shrimp, cheeses, salads and pastas. The brunch is $64; $32 for children less than 12 years old.
