If you have a craving for the fragrant chicken stew, hearty vegetable chili or messy-good fajita burritos at Gold Mine Mexican Grill in Greenlawn, you have until about 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve to get over there for your fix. After that the popular little Tex-Mex eatery is closing its doors. Chef-owner Dave Bermejo said that the lease was not renewed.
But that doesn’t mean the end for Gold Mine. Bermejo said he should reopen in a few weeks at another Greenlawn address south of Pulaski Road.
We will have an eye out for the re-launch.
