Graceful Rose in Port Jefferson gets new chef
Graceful Rose, the Port Jefferson restaurant that owner Richard Morrison opened with lottery winnings, has a new executive chef: Massimo Fedozzi, most recently of Vero in Amityville.
Fedozzi replaces Vincent Michaels, who created the menu and oversaw the kitchen when the waterside restaurant opened last fall.
A gifted Italian chef, Fedozzi said that he is working on a new menu. For now, Graceful Rose is following the culinary path that Michaels described as “seafood Continental New World” with a number of Italian recipes derived from the owner’s grandmother, Grace, and his mother, Rose.
Graceful Rose is at 154 W. Broadway, Port Jefferson, 631-509-1792.
