Great Neck: Mexican in, Korean, Argentinian out

The Cosi sandwich shop at 44 Great Neck Rd. (in the Waldbaum’s shopping center) has closed and the new occupant will be—hooray!—Chipotle. The enlightened taqueria-burritory is slated to open in mid-December. Two doors down, Koryodang bakery has also closed.
Further up Middle Neck Road, the Argentine-style steakhouse El Tango has been put out to pasture. About a year ago, I wrote that “in terms of calories from meat per dollar, this place is a winner. But it lacks finesse.”
