Vines & Branches, which used to occupy the corner of Main and Center streets in Greenport, has moved to a more central location on Front Street. The olive oil and balsamic vinegar emporium is now located just opposite the carousel at Mitchell Park in what used to be Fro-Yopia, a frozen yogurt shop. (The old space, at 477 Main St. has been leased to a Japanese restaurant, Stirling Sake, not yet open.)

Rita Winkler, Vines & Branches' owner, said that the new location was slightly smaller and that she would no longer be offering prepared foods. “But we have lots of new specialty items besides the oil and vinegar,” she said. “Tapenades and bruschetta toppings, confits, truffle products, herb blends and sea salt. And a freezer full of fresh pasta.”

Winkler closed the Vines & Branches in Southampton earlier this month and the Westhampton store in November.

Vines & Branches is operating on its spring schedule: closed Tuesday, open weekdays from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Summer hours begin in May. The store is at 110 Front St., Greenport, 631-477-6800.
