Farm stands and seafood markets, wineries and tasting rooms, shoreline days and evening restaurants -- there’s a lot to savor along the 28-mile route from Riverhead to Orient.
You need a car, a bike, plenty of time.
But Greenport, almost at the eastern tip, is a walking-around town. The region’s gastronomic bounty is concentrated into one delicious village full of terrific eateries, bakeries, wine and food shops. Here’s our selective downtown tour.
