Hamptons celebrity round-up
In August, Hamptons restaurants are thick with bold-faced names.
Sir Paul McCartney was spotted dining with friends at Philippe East Hampton; former NFL superstar, Marcus Allen, was at a nearby table.
Throughout the weekend, Savanna’s was filled with high-profile restaurateurs. Eric Ripert (Le Bernardin), Jeffrey Chodorow of China Grill Management and Mark Packer, owner of Las Vegas’s Tao and Lavo were all spotted at the Southampton restaurant's T-Bar. New York Giants owner, Steve Tisch and Douglas Elliman Chairman, Howard Lorber, were also seen dining and chatting about the upcoming football season.
On Tuesday, former New York Met, Keith Hernanadez, and his wife were spotted at Turtle Crossing enjoying ribs, corn on the cob and red wine. Saturday, New York Real Housewife, Kelly Killoren Bensimon and her daughters grabbed BBQ takeout from the East Hampton restaurant. They drank lemonade and traded Silly Bandz while waiting for their order.
Also on Tuesday, Christie Brinkley, dined on the patio at East Hampton's Serafina along with her children, sister and brother-in-law.
And, once again, Nick & Toni’s hosted a slew of celebrities throughout the week. Monday, Kelsey Grammer and baby-mama, Kayte Walsh, dined with two friends on the garden patio, the same place comedian Sandra Bernhard sat when dining with friends the next night. Thursday, SNL producer, Lorne Michaels and his wife, Rosie Shuster were spotted at the East Hampton restaurant with Alec Baldwin and artist John Alexander. Saturday, Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Ostrosky stopped by for a quick bite. The next night, hip-hop mogul, L.A. Reid dined with his wife, Erica Holton, while the same night "Inside the Actors Studio"’s James Lipton and his wife, Kedakai Turner enjoyed a dinner for two.
