When Hell’s Kitchen: Season 14 kicks off on Tuesday evening, one of the 18 contestants vying for Gordon Ramsay’s attention (and enduring his abuse) will be Chrissa Schmerler of Bellmore. Schmerler, a Mepham High alumna, is the owner of the food truck The Big Cheese, specializing in grilled-cheese sandwiches.
The truck is usually stationed at the corner of Bellmore Avenue and Bellmore Road, Schmerler is on vacation through March 11. Check for updates on her schedule on her Facebook page.
