Heather West, the season 2 winner of "Hell’s Kitchen," has returned to Jellyfish in Centerport, replacing Danny Gagnon, a former "Top Chef" contender.  West, who created most of Jellyfish’s menu, left the restaurant before it originally opened. For a while, she helmed the kitchens of Ciao Baby in Commack and Massapequa Park.

West has added a couple of seasonal specials to the repertoire at Jellyfish, among them salmon rustico, roasted and served over white beans ($26), and pork osso buco with house-made butternut squash ravioli ($28).

Additionally, West has been named corporate chef of the R2 Events Group, which includes, in addition to Jellyfish, the adjacent Thatched Cottage. The group also has rights to all catering at the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium in Centerport. West, who is getting married next weekend, will have her ceremony at the Thatched Cottage and the rest of the affair at the Vanderbilt.

Jellyfish is at 441 E. Main St., Centerport, 631-262-0300, jellyfishrestaurantli.com.
