Hudson House Kitchen and Bar opened last week in the space that formerly housed The Dirty Leprechuan near Republic Airport in Farmingdale. It’s been fully renovated.
Executive Chef Nick Hannides was chef-owner of the former Graffiti in Woodbury. His moderately priced American menu features such dishes as Maryland crabcakes ($10.95), Asian chicken salad ($10.95), and onion-crusted chicken ($17.95).
Those with fond memories of Graffiti’s green apple tuna salad sandwich will find the specialty revived here ($5.95). Hannides is making his own desserts, among them a white chocolate brioche bread pudding with dried cranberries ($5.95).
Hudson House is at 1660 New Highway, Farmingdale, 631-465-9180.
