Huntington Social, the downtown gastropub and lounge closed for more than two weeks because of a building problem, reopens today at 5 p.m.
The eatery was shut after kitchen equipment heated an interior wall, causing smoldering. Wood had been used in the construction instead of sheetrock. General manager Jeffrey Ruskaup said there was no fire. He added that the town completed its inspection and has issued a certificate of occupancy.
