Huntington: Summer dishes @ Jonathan's Ristorante
Jonathan's Ristorante has expanded the house's menu with some new dishes, seasonal and classic.
Diners perusing the summer menu can expect black linguine with shrimp tossed in a spicy tomato sauce; mussels finished in a sauce of tomato, garlic and fresh herbs; and strozzapreti, the long pasta dubbed "priest stranglers," with Bolognese sauce.
The kitchen also sends out a vegetarian's main course of tomatoes, cipollini onions, asparagus, zucchini, mushrooms and string beans. And carnivores can focus on the grilled sirloin burger with fries or the shell steak with black-truffle butter and shoestring fries. Fresh tilapia from Costa Rica is served with olives, capers, tomato sauce and asparagus.
Jonathan's Ristorante, open every day; is at 15 Wall St., Huntington; 631-549-0055.
