Ice-cream musicale at Five Pennies, RVC

Tonight at Five Pennies Creamery you can enjoy homemade ice cream while being serenaded (and ukulele-ed) by Sidney Sahr, a local singer-songwriter. “She’s one of our scoopers,” said owner Dan Levine, “and she just happens to have a lot of musical talent.”
Sahr’s Wednesday-night performances started about a month ago. The show starts around 8 p.m. and lasts about an hour.
On the ice-cream front, Levine reports that his original lineup of 80 flavors has expanded to 125. Some of the newest are Key lime pie, Oreo-cheesecake and the white-on-white “snowman,” white-chocolate ice cream with white chocolate chips and marshmallows.
