West Babylon’s Krazy Ramen fuses co-owner Yan Guo’s two passions: Ramen and anime. The new shop opened Jan. 9 in the former Blaze Pizza on Montauk Highway in the Great South Bay shopping center.

"I’m a big fan of 'Dragon Ball Z,' " Guo said. "When I was a kid, I always used my allowance, I saved the money to buy all the comic books." The new shop melds that world with a range of ramen. Wallpaper across the dining room features anime characters such as Vegeta, Gohan and Goku. Other series represented include "My Hero Academia," "Full Metal Alchemist" and "Attack on Titan."

Guo, who also owns Stony Brook’s Meet Noodle, said this project took about two years to complete. The space is 2,500 square feet and seats 60 guests.

Krazy Ramen’s miso ramen ($16.95) is made with pork broth layered with corn, cha shu egg, bamboo shoots, scallions and nori. There's classic tonkotsu ramen ($15.95) and the spicy tantamen ramen ($15.95). Vegetarian ramen ($15) is made with a miso-based broth, tofu, scallion, bamboo shoots, sweet shiitake, mushroom and sweet corn. While ramen is the superstar of the menu, other options are coming soon, including a make-your-own poke bowl ($16.95). There are also appetizers such as edamame ($6), steamed shrimp dumplings ($7 for six) and a chicken katsu bun ($8).

Drinks include coffee boba ($7.50), fruit tea, like the Strawberry Delight made with strawberries, green tea and ice topped with milk ($6.95), and lemon tea ($5.50).
