If you were a fan of Fanelli's in Lindenhurst, you'll have to find your fettuccine fix elsewhere. The restaurant is closed.
Last year, a friend and I had lunch there. It was a mixed meal whose highlight was a light and likable chicken, mozzarella and broccoli rabe panino. There was also stuffed rigatoni Bolognese that somehow looked like loaded nachos. And flavorless stracciatella.
What will take its place? I'm betting on another Italian spot.
