Lindenhurst: Oktoberfest at Village Lanterne

Grab a beer stein and start swinging; it’s Oktoberfest time at The Village Lanterne in Lindenhurst, where you can eat, drink and party.

On Friday and Saturday nights, the place resounds with live Bavarian music. Order such Oktoberfest specials as goulash soup, curry wurst, pork stroganoff and chicken rouladen. Oktoberfest beers on tap include Hofbrau, Spaten and Hacker-Pschorr.

The festivities culminate on Friday, Oct. 22, the restaurant’s three-year anniversary, when there will be Bavarian dancers, specials and giveaways.
