With summer comes lobster specials. Here are two we just learned about:

CoolFish in Syosset is featuring a lobster boil every Monday and Tuesday night.

Here’s the deal: You start with a Caesar salad, moving on to a 2-pound whole steamed lobster accompanied by clams, mussels, potatoes, corn, drawn butter and lemon. For dessert, there’s ice cream or sorbet. The three-course dinner goes for $35.95 a person.

CoolFish is at 6800 Jericho Tpke., Syosset, 516-921-3250

Tonight, Wednesday, is lobster night at Rose Hunt Restaurant at the Fox Hollow Inn in Woodbury.  A three-course dinner that includes soup, salad and a lobster main course, starts at $24 for a 1-1/4 pound steamed Maine lobster. A 2-1/2 pound lobster is $42, while a 2 pound lobster with fresh crabmeat stuffing is $44.  For $46, you can get twin lobsters, any style. Surf and turf, at $42, means a 7-ounce lobster tail with drawn butter, potato and vegetable. Any of the above come with potato and vegetable. Live music, as well.
