Nicole Roarke replaces Adam Goldgell as executive chef of Sugo, a New American restaurant in Long Beach.

Roarke, a graduate of the French Culinary Institute, was sous chef at the restaurant for the past nine months. Among her specialties are osso buco and her grandfather’s recipe for marinara sauce, made with fresh mint.
