Here are some pubs you’ll want to visit for the burgers alone.

The Irish burger at this cozy Northport pub features a half pound of beef chargrilled to smoky juiciness. It’s served on a toasted potato bun and topped with chopped red onion, roasted red peppers; spicy mustard served on the side. Comes with fries or a salad. $12.95

The burger at this gastropub is hand-formed, cooked on a griddle and pressed with a mallet. The juicy patty comes on a toasted brioche bun with tomato, red onions and pickles. On the side are dark and nutty hand-cut fries. $17
