After a two-year absence, The Long Island Hospitality Ball is back. This annual culinary extravaganza that raises money for cancer research is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and organizers hope to top 2019’s total of more than $400,000 raised for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

The event takes place on June 27 and, as usual, it takes over Woodbury’s Crest Hollow Country Club. Tickets costs $150 and offer unlimited tastes from scores of beverage distributors and local restaurants including 317 Main Street and That Meetball Place of Farmingdale, Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar of Babylon, Marc Anthony Bynum of the roving Hush Truck, Dirty Taco, Limani Hospitality Group, Mercato Cucina of Huntington Station, Ruta Oaxaca of Patchogue, Rothmann's of East Norwich, Matteo's of Huntington and Roslyn Heights, Vincent’s Clam Bar of Carle Place and Vittorio's of Amityville. In addition, Long Island's heaviest-hitting restaurant groups will also be on the scene: Bohlsen Restaurant Group, Anthony Scotto Restaurants and Lessing’s Hospitality Group.

Entertainment will be provided by some of Long Island’s top cover bands and entertainers including Michael DelGuidice (Billy Joel band member and leader of Big Shot, the Billy Joel tribute band), Sal “The Voice” Valentinetti, That 70’s Band, Lime and DJ Theo.

The LIHB was founded in 2011 by Keith Hart, a hospitality industry veteran and cancer survivor. This year, Hart will be honored along with Greg Clement, New York State vice president of commercial operations for Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits. The annual Ed Lowe Media Award will be awarded to former News 12 journalist Carol Silva.
