The rise of gastropubs underscores that “smart casual” applies to more than a dress code. These spots pair good food with good brews. Here are three that match up very well.

The Plainview restaurant features dishes such as deviled eggs, chicken potpie, fried chicken, burgers galore, pulled pork, Cobb salad, mahi mahi “deconstructed” fish tacos and a tasty rib-eye steak.
