Lula Trattoria in Mineola has closed.
The stylish small-plates restaurant, which debuted a little over a year ago in the former Jericho Turnpike digs of Circa Enoteca, garnered a two-star rating from Newsday’s Peter Gianotti. He called it “one big tasting of little plates,” praising, among other dishes, the tuna crudo, pan-seared scallops and bucatini all’Amatriciana.
The restaurant's opening chef, Tom Gloster, left the place in July.
