Had the yen for a hot dog one recent afternoon. Couldn’t rest until I bit into one. So I hopped in the car and headed for the Five Guys in Huntington Station.
True, my lunch was a cardiologist’s nightmare. But it’s hard to improve on a dog that’s sliced lengthwise, creating more surface area for the griddle to work its crusty magic. The bun is griddled, too. A little mustard, and I was in juicy, garlicky heaven. Cash setback? $3.99.
