Mac 'n cheese goes global

Want to know what put a big smile on my face this week? Coming upon the ingenious "international" mac 'n cheese menu at the Port Royal Pub and Grille in Islip.
From a selection that included Cordon Bleu mac, Mediterranean mac and Mexi-fajita mac, I chose the smoky bbq mac. What I got was a massive bowl of al dente cavatappi (corkscrew pasta) with melted Cheddar and pulled pork. So good. And big. In fact, I snapped the above photo after eating my fill, departing with a major doggy bag. Bottom line? Lunch cost only $8.95.
