Maguire's Bay Front Restaurant

Virtually every bar and restaurant in Ocean Beach has some type of water view, but Maguire's, with its good-size deck right on the bay, remains a crowd favorite.

The New American menu features "drunken" porterhouse pork chops and blackened catfish.

Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3-5 p.m. with specials on beer, frozen drinks, oysters, shrimp and more. Summer cocktails include the Rocket Fuel, a pina colada with amaretto.
