Manhasset: An expert taste of Italian wines

Marilisa Allegrini, owner of Allegrini Estate, one of Italy's outstanding red-wine producers, visits Young's Fine Wine & Spirits on Thursday.

It's a limited-seating event at the wine shop. The winery's latest releases will be available for tasting. Allegrini, based in the Veneto, is known for its Valpolicellas and Amarone wines. Allegrini uses special fermentation techniques to make its fine Palazzo delle Torre red blend. Learn about the ripasso method and enjoy the result.
