Manhasset: "Wine artisans" series at Young's

Young's Fine Wines & Spirits hosts the first session in a "wine artisans" series at the store on March 18.
The focus will be on Hermann J. Wiemer Vineyard & Winery from the Finger Lakes region. The winery is respected for outstanding riesling. Both dry- and semi-dry riesling will be available, as well as gewurztraminer and cabernet franc. Oskar Bynke, owner of the winery, and winemaker-owner Fred Merwarth will be there to discuss their wines. The session starts at 7 p.m.
