Mario Cuomo's Manhasset meal

Former Governor Mario Cuomo (dad of our current gov) plus a group of friends showed up at Stresa in Manhasset. They promptly got down to some serious eating.
According to co-owner Giorgio Meriggi, the political patriarch started with eggplant rollatini, followed by house-made fettuccine with porcini mushrooms. His main course was Dover sole with a soufflé of asparagus, spinach and broccoli on the side. A dessert souffle – this one of chocolate and Grand Marnier – concluded the meal.
