For those who like a big lunch, La Volpe in Moriches has a three-course $18 midday  pasta prix fixe that runs Tuesday to Friday from noon to 3 p.m.

Among choices are an appetizer of oven-baked eggplant stuffed with spinach and ricotta, a main course of tagliatelle alla Bolognese and, for dessert, tiramisu or cannoli.

The only rules: No takeout. Or parties of more than twelve.
