Meeting House Creek Inn, a waterside staple in Aquebogue for more than two decades, has closed.
The marina-side restaurant offered free docking and outdoor dining with a tiki bar. Its menu had such items as clams on the half shell, coconut shrimp, cioppino (seafood stew) a fried flounder sandwich, burgers and roasted Long Island duckling.
A call to the restaurant elicited a recording that stated the place is expected to reopen in Riverhead at a Pulaski Street address next spring.
