Montauk, always synonymous with lobster, soon will have a new fast-casual restaurant where you can dine on the big catch and more.

MTK Lobster House is expected to open mid-March.

Owner Diego Flores formerly was manager of Shagwong Tavern, a longtime landmark in downtown Montauk.

Flores said the restaurant menu hasn’t been finalized. But diners can count on dishes such as a lobster roll, fish and chips, chowders, lobster bisque, crabcakes and a clambake.

Prices will range from $10 to $25, Flores said.

MTK Lobster House will be in the former site of Soursop Tree Cafe, a Jamaican eatery, on the second floor, above Plaza Surf and Sports at 716 Montauk Hwy., Montauk. Telephone number coming soon.
