After a run of almost five years, Mukda Thai Cuisine on Old Country Road in Hicksville has closed.
The restaurant, owned by Wisut Kaeoasdangkul and his wife, Mukda, went beyond the usual Americanized Thai menu and served stewed beef tendon soup, barbecued-beef salad and stewed pork leg with mustard greens over rice. Before Mukda, the couple had run Hicksville’s Siam House.
A new sign over the entrance promises a new Thai restaurant, Chada Thai Bistro. We’ll keep you posted.
