Muscle Maker Grill, a New Jersey-based national healthy eating chain, just opened in the Huntington Station space that last hosted Gimme 2 and, before that, Greek Captain -- and,  earlier still, a Starbucks.

The counter-serve spot is all about lean protein-based eating. On the menu are Texas chicken nuggets (284 calories, $4.99), a Mardi Gras Cajun grilled chicken salad (415 calories, $9.35) and a veggie wrap (440 calories; $6.99). A new “lighter side” roster features items under 400 calories at $5.99 each, among them penne Romano with chicken in a reduced-fat vodka sauce, a “Mona Lisa” chicken wrap and a “Hollywood” grilled chicken breast and turkey bacon salad.

The new place joins existing Muscle Maker grills in Amityville, Long Beach and Merrick.

Muscle Maker Grill is at 195 Walt Whitman Rd., Huntington Station, 631-319-1569, musclemakergrill.com.
