New from Peru in Patchogue

Los Andes, a Deer Park Peruvian restaurant, has spawned a new Patchogue branch. The new eatery occupies the diner-like space that last hosted Stop 275.
The menu is identical at both locations. Having eaten at the Deer Park place, I can only look forward to once again having the seviche de pescado ($12.50) made with generous cuts of white fish “cooked” by its citrus marinade. Also eagerly anticipated: digging into the rotisserie chicken ($16.50 for a whole chicken; $23.99 for a combination family dinner for four), recalled as beautifully burnished, infused with the flavor of its savory marinade.
Los Andes is at 275 E Main St., Patchogue, 631-569-4555 and 1844 Deer Park Ave. Deer Park, NY 631-392-1555, losandesli.com.
